Gerard roof tiles are strong. Made from high grade steel, with a tough volcanic stone coating, it’s hard to imaging a stronger roof.

Thinking practically, your roof is exposed to all the elements and other roof materials may not cope with what nature has to offer. Clay or concrete tiles will break if hit by falling fruits /nuts / coconuts etc. Even a heavy storm can crack this type of tile. If maintenance is required anywhere on the roof, walking on clay and concrete tiles can also break them.

Genuine Gerard stone coated alu-zinc steel tiles will withstand all of this, and more. Using G300 grade 26 Gauge steel, our 0.4mm (0.43mm total) steel is warranted for 50 years.
