2017 sees a momentous milestone achieved by Gerard Roofing Systems – supplying our fifty-fifth million tile in sub-Saharan Africa. Since inventing the stone coated roofing tile in New Zealand in 1957, Gerard has invested heavily in innovation (see our video here) and our market leading products are today used throughout the world. However, it was in the year 2000 that a dedicated office opened to distribute and market the Gerard Roofing System in Africa. Since then, Gerard Roofing Tiles have been supplied through our Distribution partners in 26 sub-Saharan countries & we are the brand leaders in most of these; being the only roof tile to be fully tried, tested and trusted by customers.
Reaching such an impressive milestone coincides with our 60th anniversary, so there’s two good reasons to visit your local official Gerard Distributor.
